Above Par: Pink Ribbon Rally supports PRG

LPGA Amateur Golf Association-Cincinnati raises $30,000 for PRG in 2022

Pink Ribbon Girls was once again honored to be the beneficiary of the 2022 Cincinnati LPGA Amateur Golf Association Pink Ribbon Ribbon Rally for the second year in a row.

The 2022 event was held at Blue Ash Golf Course Sept. 17. More than 120 women participated, decked out in their best pink golf outfits. The event included a lively caddie auction, fabulous raffle baskets, as well as chipping and putting contests.

In the past two years, this event has raised more than $58,000 for PRG to provide healthy meals, rides to treatment, housecleaning kits, peer support and education to individuals and families battling breast and gynecological cancers in the Tri-State area.

“A true highlight over the past two years has been starting a partnership with the dedicated ladies of LPGA Amateur Golf Association-Cincinnati,” said Julie Miller, Pink Ribbon Girls Regional Director, Cincinnati/NKY. “They spend countless hours organizing the Pink Ribbon Rally because they want to make a difference in their community and help individuals battling breast and gynecological cancers.”

LPGA Amateur Golf Association-Cincinnati is dedicated to enriching the lives of women by encouraging them to learn, play and enjoy golf for business and for fun. Throughout the past 12 years the Pink Ribbon Rally Golf Outing has raised more than $178,000 for breast cancer prevention, awareness and support programs.

Pink Ribbon Girls looks forward to the Pink Ribbon Rally in 2023. If you’re interested in participating or being a sponsor, you can contact Julie Miller, at jmiller@pinkribbongirls.org.
