A Very Special Night - Cincinnati’s 2022 Ignite the Fight Event

Over 250 people came together for an unforgettable evening to support PRG.

On Friday September 30th, a crowd gathered at the Little Miami Brewing Event Center for the Pink Ribbon Girls Ignite the Fight event for the Cincinnati region.

The weather was gorgeous and allowed for guests to enjoy the views from the patio as they mingled during the cocktail hour. They also had a chance to bid on a variety of silent auction items and purchase Pink Ribbon Girls merchandise.

The delicious dinner was catered by Silver Spring House and as the meal ended, guests were inspired by personal stories from so many who have battled breast cancer including our emcee for the evening, Meghan Mongillo.

Two clients that PRG has had the honor to serve, Cassie Brown and Cindy Oliver, both touched the hearts of those in the audience with their inspiring stories and descriptions of how Pink Ribbon Girls played a part in their cancer journeys.

After the fundraising, the Bourbon Road Band took to the stage and entertained the crowd late into the evening.

Because of the generosity of those in attendance who helped us raise over $195,000 that evening, Pink Ribbon Girls can continue to ensure that our Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky area clients and their families fighting breast and gynecological cancers will not travel this road alone. We will be with them offering vital support including free healthy meals, rides to treatment, house-cleaning essentials, peer support and education.
