Join us for our next HER2+Connect Group! This group is intended for patients and survivors that have been diagnosed with HER2+ breast cancer. These meetings will be held virtually on Zoom. No matter where you are located you are welcome to join the conversation.
We’re excited to welcome back Valerie Mitchell, a HER2+ breast cancer patient and Licensed Professional Counselor, as our speaker for the final 2022 session of HER2+Connect. Navigating through the holiday season can be challenging. The experience can also vary from year to year depending on whether you’re newly diagnosed, several years out from treatment, or living with metastatic disease. In addition to her personal experience of getting through the holiday seasons since her diagnosis, Valerie also brings her professional expertise to our discussion. During this session, we’ll discuss potential emotional triggers, creating a holiday experience that meets your needs, how to say no, and other tips, strategies, and insights you may find to be helpful.
