David and Jane Peacock find the mission and energy around Pink Ribbon Girls remarkable. That’s why they have chosen to partner with and support the organization.

Every day, individuals begin rigorous cancer treatments with the uncertainty of how they will have the energy to help take care of themselves and their families. 

“PRG solves this by providing meals, housecleaning services and rides to treatment so the normal burdens of everyday life are more easily managed and an individual can fully recover from his or her condition,” says David. “Knowing this, the need for PRG is enormous and immediate.”

David is the former president and COO of Schnucks Markets, which partnered with PRG to provide healthy, nutritious meals to clients in the St. Louis region. He also serves on the PRG Board of Directors.

“PRG’s clarity of mission, the amount of need for their services and the creativity and energy that exists within the PRG leadership and staff all make serving on the board a satisfying endeavor,” says David.

David and Jane have participated in PRG events, leveraged connections with potential partners and advocated for the organization among friends and medical professionals.

“There are tremendous agencies raising significant funds for cancer research in an effort to cure the disease or mitigate its effects. PRG is unique in that it fills a gap,” says David.
